Diameter Ltd, a UK-based company that specialises in diamond-like carbon (DLC) coatings, shape memory alloys and materials demonstrating the piezo effect, has announced that it is changing its name to Renishaw Advanced Materials Ltd.
In the fast moving and competitive world of science and technology associated with advanced materials, Renishaw Advanced Materials is unique insofar as it sponsors much of its own research and in combination with academic institutes, exploits the results of this work.
