IDS 2013 logoRenishaw is exhibiting its new optical dental scanner, the DS20, with a wide range of optical, tactile and also hybrid CAD solutions, at IDS 2013.

Dental Laboratories use CAD/CAM systems with 3D scanner technologies to scan the 3D surface of a tooth preparation digitally and plan the restoration using CAD software.With the Renishaw Dental Studio software package, which is based on Frauenhofer IGD/exocad, Renishaw is offering a CAD system for dental applications that requires minimal training.
