Datum sphere
Regular requalification of your probe using Renishaw's universal datum sphere enhances the performance of your manual or fully automated CMM.
The spheres are made from hard-wearing tungsten carbide and are available in five different diameters:
- 12 mm
- 19 mm
- 25 mm
- 3/4 in
- 1 in
Each sphere kit comprises:
- One datum sphere
- Pivot pillar, base, 'C' spanner
- Ball certificate and storage box
- Adaptor for twin ball applications (optional)
Ball stems can quickly and easily be adjusted over a wide range of probe datuming angles.
Renishaw datum spheres are supplied with their own individual certificate, traceable to UK (NPL) standards.
