Renishaw’s new incise™ dental milling machine was a significant talking point at the Dental Showcase exhibition held recently in Birmingham, UK, where dental laboratories were shown a system that will allow them to produce high quality zirconia frameworks at prices well below current market norms.
Renishaw, the world’s largest supplier of in-lab CAD/CAM scanning machines (hall 6 stand Q18), will highlight its new incise dental milling system which enables dental laboratories of all sizes to manufacture truly low cost zirconia frameworks in-house.
Dentists and dental technicians from across the world flocked to the Renishaw stand at IDS 2009, the world’s largest trade show for the dental industry held recently in Cologne, Germany. The UK-based company announced the European launch of its incise dental CAD/CAM system, which combines high-speed 3D scanning capabilities, powerful software and a new milling machine to allow the manufacture of high quality zirconia crowns and bridges.
Being launched at IDS Cologne, hall 3.2, stand G18, Renishaw’s inciseTM dental milling system will enable dental laboratories to manufacture zirconia frameworks in-house. Styled and sized to match the inciseTM dental scanning machine, it uses a highly accurate Renishaw contact probe for job set-up and monitoring of the cutting tool. Together with Renishaw’s central milling option, dental laboratories now have access to a dental CAD/CAM system that offers both in-lab and out sourced manufacturing
