Renishaw announces Apple iPad tablet winnerRenishaw is pleased to announce the lucky winner of an Apple iPad 2 tablet following the inside Raman seminar at the Natural History Museum earlier this year. Amre Atmeh, lucky winner of an Apple iPad 2 tablet!
As a PhD student in Dr Frederic Festy's group at King's College London, Amre uses an inVia Raman microscope in his pre-clinical dentistry research. Amre came to Renishaw's inside Raman seminar at the Natural History Museum in September because he was particularly keen to attend the live demonstrations run by our applications team. When asked about his work with the inVia, Amre said "for my PhD studies, I am using the inVia Raman spectroscope to characterise interfaces of dental cements with dentine, which made my experience with the Raman an enjoyable one, with its simplicity, efficiency, and speed, especially with the StreamLine technology that saved me spending whole nights in the lab". Amre is pictured here at Millenium Square in Sheffield, where he attended a dental conference earlier this year.
