About Renishaw GUIs
Renishaw has worked with a number of machine tool builders to produce graphical user interface (GUI) software for applications such as part setting, inspection, tool setting and probe calibration.
Each GUI provides an intuitive, user-friendly environment designed to guide users through the process of generating a probing cycle. The applications eliminate the difficulty associated with traditional machine tool programming, allowing cycles to be produced and selected with minimal user input.
Features and benefits
Offering significant ease of use, the GUIs guide users through probe calibration, part setting, tool setting and probe inspection cycles, increasing usability and eliminating manual set‑up tasks. Simply position the probe above the desired feature and select the relevant cycle to run the desired measurement routine. In addition to simplifying standard probing tasks, Renishaw GUIs provide additional functionality including:
Fanuc and Mazak controls are supported by Set and Inspect, a new on-machine probing app for use on a Microsoft® Windows®-based control – or on a Windows tablet connected to the control via Ethernet.
