Industrial Placements 2013-2014Industrial Placements are aimed at students already enrolled on an engineering based undergraduate course, who are required to undertake a sandwich placement as part of their course. The application process for the 2013-2014 Industrial Placement Scheme is now closed. Applications will reopen for the 2014-2015 scheme in September 2013. Summer Placements 2013The application process for the 2013 Summer Placement Scheme is now closed. Applications will reopen for the 2014 scheme in September 2013. Pre-University Placements 2013-2014Renishaw offers several Pre-University (or Gap Year) Placements, usually lasting about 12 months. The application process for the 2013 Pre-University Placement Scheme is now closed. Applications will reopen for the 2014 scheme in September 2013. Work experienceRenishaw offers approximately 40 one-week work experience opportunities for year 10 and year 12 students drawn from selected schools across the region. Preference is given to those students who are studying Maths and Science and who have an interest in Engineering. Students are placed in departments in which they believe they may wish to pursue a career.
