  • Automation(restrictions on script size)

Full GML

GML Full BoxIf your organisation is looking to exploit the power of the GML to achieve software success, we can discuss a range of licensing options with you. All commercial licences provide you with the full version of the GML, which does not have any of the restrictions present in the GML Lite.

A 1 year academic subscription is also available for £100. With this licence you will be entitled to use the full version of the GML for all academic activities.

GML Full Version Benefits:

  • Support for loading unlimited numbers of addins.
  • Unrestricted entity size.
  • Unrestricted automation.
  • Faster analysis, registration and fitting.

The GML is ideal for energising research and development activities, and offers powerful tools that can be used for data analysis, process verification and product development. Corporate licensing solutions are available for businesses who wish to develop applications using the GML but who only need to utilise those applications internally within their organisations.

Alternatively, the GML may be licensed for distribution as part of commercial applications developed by your company. This option is aimed at companies who wish to build saleable software solutions built on powerful and versatile routines available in the GML.

Renishaw offers flexible support options for all licensing solutions. To discuss your requirements, for licensing quotes or to purchase a licence, please contact us.

Development Services

Alternatively, depending on the complexity of your requirement, we can provide additional custom development services for bespoke algorithms, classes or 'add-in' development, all the way up to writing entire applications to support your needs. Costing is dependent on requirements so please get in touch to discuss your needs.

Usage Statistics

For our personal and trial licences, GML records usage statistics and periodically sends these to our servers. We use these statistics to assess which areas of the library are most heavily used and to monitor trends in add-in usage. No data is recorded that is not of direct relevance to the GML and no data is recorded that could be used to identify you as an individual. Also, no details of model data loaded into the GML are recorded. This data is not recorded for academic or commercial licences.

The data recorded are as follows:

  • API functions called with call count.
  • Total time and runs of GML GUI.
  • Filename of executing application.
  • Module filenames loaded with the GML, including file CRC.
  • GML add-in filenames loaded, including file CRC and run count.
