We offer four schemes:

We only offer work experience during a fixed two-week period, the weeks commencing the 6th and 13th of July 2020, unfortunately we cannot accommodate any placements outside of these dates.
If you'd like to be added to the waiting list for the Gloucestershire schemes, please send a CV to email@example.com.
The format of our work experience is project-based
For students in years 10 to 13 at schools throughout Gloucestershire, South Gloucestershire, Bristol and South Wales, Renishaw's work experience weeks provide the ideal opportunity to discover what it's really like to work in one of the world's foremost engineering companies. Unlike most companies who offer a job shadowing experience, at Renishaw all our schemes are project based, allowing students to get a real understanding of what working life is really like.
Gloucestershire - Renishaw's headquarters, New Mills near Wotton-under-Edge, Gloucestershire
Wales - Renishaw's Miskin manufacturing plant near Cardiff
Applications are welcome from all students who have an interest in engineering, software or commercial and enjoy a range of subjects that might include maths, science, design & technology, computer science or art.

- Work on and complete a project
- Problem solving skills
- Team building skills

I found last week very useful, as I learnt a great deal about the engineering industry and career paths I could take within that job sector. It has shown me that engineering is the best path for me and also that I thoroughly enjoy working on these types of projects.
