A full-year professional engineering experience
For engineering undergraduates required to spend time in industry as a part of a thick sandwich university course Renishaw offers a significant number of paid industrial placements each year.
To provide a fully immersive experience, these full-year placements are spent working within one product division, with projects and responsibilities allocated depending on interests and the engineering discipline studied.
Successful industrial placements can lead to undergraduate sponsorship through the Renishaw student bursary scheme. Further industrial placements or a position in the Renishaw Graduate Scheme can also be offered.
Around 75% of students on industrial placements are offered a bursary to support them financially while they undertake their university studies and some 30% of placement students join the graduate scheme.
