EVOLUTE is a true absolute non-contact optical encoder with a 50 μm scale period that gives enhanced installation tolerances and greater dirt immunity for high-volume applications that demand the highest operational integrity. Using a scale period of 50 μm gives EVOLUTE a generous 500 μm rideheight tolerance and its single track optics are optimised for contamination resistance.
