About MP700
The MP700 features strain-gauge sensing technology, providing the most accurate machine tool probe available. With a low and consistent trigger force in all sensing directions, the MP700 is ideal for complex and contoured part inspection. Using only a simple calibration routine, the MP700 can be used in any measurement direction with uncompromised precision.
As with other Renishaw optical transmission machine probes, MP700 is available with optical output at 35° or 70° to the probe's axis.
For smaller machine tools, Renishaw recommends using the new generation OMP400 strain-gauge probe.
MP700E
The MP700E probe was designed to suit larger size machine tool applications with extended transmission distances (up to 9.5 m) between the probe and the machine mounted receiver.
MP700E is now obsolete and will soon be replaced by the new RMP600 high accuracy radio transmission probe. Please contact your local Renishaw office for more information.
