RoHS
All Renishaw optical encoder systems and associated parts are RoHS compliant in relation to Directive 2011/65/EU, including the amendment to Annex II, 2015/863/EU (31 March 2015), as shown by the CE certificates here. If you need a RoHS certificate for a specific product that is not shown, then please contact EPD.Compliance@Renishaw.com.

TONiC FS
The TONiC FS encoder system has been certified by Renishaw plc (itself certified to perform this undertaking by CSA Sira), reference certificate number FSC001-01, against BS EN ISO 13849-1 as being suitable for use in applications requiring up to performance level d (PLd) and against BS EN IEC 61508 / BS EN IEC 61800-5-2.
RESOLUTE FS Siemens DRIVE-CLiQ
The RESOLUTE FS Siemens DRIVE-CliQ encoder system has been certified by CSA Sira, reference certificate number FSP16008/00, against BS EN ISO 13849-1 as being suitable for use in applications requiring up to performance level d (PLd) and against BS EN IEC 61508 / BS EN IEC 61800-5-2.
RESOLUTE FS BiSS® Safety
The RESOLUTE FS with BiSS Safety encoder system has been certified, reference certificate number FSC002-01, as being suitable for use in a Category 3 performance level d (PLd) application in compliance with ISO 13849-1 and in a safety integrity level 2 (SIL2) application in compliance with IEC 61508-1 and IEC 61800-5-2.
FORTiS FS
The FORTiS FS encoder system has been certified, reference certificate number FSC003-01, as being suitable for use in a Category 3 performance level d (PLd) application in compliance with ISO 13849-1 and in a safety integrity level 2 (SIL2) application in compliance with IEC 61508-1 and IEC 61800-5-2.
