Registration (ultrasound) tool-holder

The ultrasound tool-holder is used in frameless procedures and is mounted on the neuromate® arm in the same way as a standard tool-holder.

Registration (microphone) frame

The registration frame is attached to the fiducial fixation kit at the beginning of a frameless surgical procedure in order to achieve consistent cranial registration to the neuromate®.

Head holder and attachments

This is composed of a half ring, six pins and a clip to fix the half ring on the attachment.

The head-holder must be fixed to the base of the neuromate®.

Remote control

neuromate® remote control allows surgeons to move the robotic arm within the a pre-defined volume during the planning process. The device has a safety feature that prevents accidental activation

Electrode micro-manipulator kit

This includes the micro-manipulator and all the necessary elements for implanting electrodes.

Elements are made of high tech materials, with consideration for Operating Room (OR) constraints (sterilisation, storage, etc).

Fiducial fixation kit

Includes: a semi-permanent implantable fixation (bone screw), which can be screwed into the skull, along with three biocompatible anchor pins. The bone screw has been specifically designed to facilitate fast, secure skull implantation.

Image localizers

CT or MRI compatible units are attached to the fiducial fixation when the patient undergoes image acquisition.

Endoscopic module

A specific instrument holder has been designed to receive most types of endoscope.

Note: neuro-endoscopy options are currently available only in Europe.

Laser holder

This is mounted on the neuromate® arm in the same way as a standard tool-holder.

The standard tool-holder

This is a universal holder featuring a guide into which standard neurosurgical instruments such as drills, guide tubes, biopsy needles, catheters, etc. can be inserted.
