TS27R TS27R is mounted on the machine table. It enables the user to set tool length and diameter of rotating tools, and to carry out broken tool detection.

As with all Renishaw hard-wired probe systems, TS27R requires the MI8 interface to convert probe signals into an acceptable form for the CNC machine control.

Software for TS27R

Renishaw tool setting software allows you to set tool length and diameter offsets for single point and multiple point tools, perform in cycle broken tool detection and manual or automatic (programmed) positioning.

TS32 with optical transmission

NC4 is the latest generation of non-contact tool setter and our most compact design.

OTS uses an optical transmission method, allowing cable-free operation of the machine table.

OTS can also be used as part of a twin probe - single receiver - system.

TS32 is an optical alternative to the TS27R, however Renishaw recommends upgrading to the new OTS tool setter.
