MP10 touch trigger inspection probe system with optical transmission for machining centres. Uses M code switch on / switch off method.  Now superseded by OMP60.

About MP10

The MP10 is a machining centre inspection probe using infra-red optical transmission.  The probe is turned on using either an M code or an auto-start feature and turned off using an M code or an internal timer.

The new generation OMP60 probe system supersedes the MP10 and offers improved transmission integrity and other benefits.

About MP10R

The MP10R is visible-red optical transmission probe designed for twin spindle machining centres, where it is used in combination with an infra-red optical transmission probes. 

The MP10R has been superseded by the twin probe system, which allows two infra-red transmission probes to operate on the same machine without cross-talk.

About MP10E

The MP10E probe is now obsolete, however, relevant literature can be downloaded from the right of this page. Renishaw recommends upgrading to the new generation OMP60 probe.
