About MP16

The MP16 incorporates a probe module that provides the largest stylus overtravel of any Renishaw touch-trigger probe, making it ideal for use on large machine tools.

Designed for use with the RMM2 radio transmitter and MI16 interface, the MP16 probe is a separate module that can be detached from the transmission / power supply unit.

The MP16 version required depends on the nominal frequency of transmission, which varies according to the territory in which the probe system is used:

433 MHz (UK, Europe)
224 MHz (USA, Japan)
