Tracecut in useDigitising is the process of gathering data from undefined 3D surfaces, and is used in fields such as tool, die and mould making. As such it has applications in industries as diverse as coin, shoe, jewellery, automotive and confectionery manufacture.

Renishaw provides stand-alone digitising systems as well as world-class digitising software that controls the scanning, processes the data and creates tool paths for NC machining of moulds or dies.
