Post processors

The post processor is a translation tool which converts a Productivity+™ program into a language understood by the CNC machine controller.

About Productivity+™ post processors

The GibbsCAM plug-in and Active Editor Pro, support a number of machine tool controls, via Renishaw post processors. The post processor converts the high-level Productivity+™ program statements into G-code language that the machine tool controller can run.

Renishaw is continually developing new post processors. Please contact Renishaw if your controller is not listed.

As with many CAM packages, the post processor can be used on multiple machines with the same controller type.
