Renishaw are currently seeking to recruit a cleaner to work at the Stonehouse site on a Fixed Term Contract. The cleaner’s role is to work as part of a team to provide a cleaning service to the business which maintains high standards of cleanliness with respect to technical and cosmetic finishes in our production and office environments
The key outputs and deliverables of the role are as follows:
- Cleaning hard and soft finished floors to maintain the required quality standards
- Using industrial cleaning equipment in applicable cleaning applications
- Making effective use of equipment and cleaning materials at all times
Qualifications and expertise:
All applicants are required to have the following:
- Good literacy and numeracy skills are necessary with regard to following work schedule instructions and data
- Cleaning product information and equipment operating instructions need to be understood and followed explicitly
Although not essential it would be desirable if applicants have the following:
- Previous knowledge of factory and office cleaning techniques
- Use of associated equipment would be an advantage, although not essential as full training will be given
Person specification:
The successful applicants will have a good health record and be physically fit, as operation of the equipment and the nature of the job can be physically demanding. They will have a methodical approach to work, and be capable of working as part of a team as well as alone and unsupervised.
Location:
The role will be based at Stonehouse, Gloucestershire.
Suggested working hours are 37 hours, Monday to Thursday commencing at 6:00am and finishing at 2:00pm with a 0.5 hour break and on Friday, commencing at 6:00am and finishing at 1:30pm with a 0.5 hour break.

Buyer
Renishaw are currently seeking to recruit a Buyer to support the Supply Chain Management team based at Woodchester and/or Stonehouse. This role involves the purchasing of a range of production commodities and liaison with internal customers and external suppliers in support of production plans, customer requirements and cost targets.
The key outputs and deliverables of the role are as follows:
- Effective management and control of supply chains to ensure that production requirements and time scales are met
- Supplier price negotiation and management to ensure team cost reduction targets are realised
- Control of stock and planning parameters within an ERP environment, ensuring minimum stock levels are managed consistent with risk analysis
- Liaison both internally and externally to support resolution of quality related issues and problems
- The implementation of efficient supply chain communication and logistics solutions to ensure total acquisition costs are minimised
Qualifications and expertise:
All applicants are required to have the following:
- A minimum of 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grade C or above, including Maths
- Expertise within a Purchasing environment, ideally within a manufacturing industry
- An awareness of MRP/ERP and Stock Control processes will be a distinct advantage, although training will be provided to the right candidate
- Good PC literacy, including knowledge of Microsoft Office, Word and Excel to intermediate level
- A full driving licence
Although not essential it is desirable if applicants have some of the following:
- A post GCSE (or equivalent) qualification(s) would be an advantage
- The ability to communicate at all levels both internally and externally
- Knowledge of electronic components and/or mechanical engineering components

Technical Administrator
Renishaw are seeking to recruit a Technical Administrator to join the Neurological Products Division. Within the Neurological Product Group (NPG) there are three key processes – Training, Document Control and CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Actions). The technical administrative function owns these processes with the responsibility for their maintenance – recorded evidence is at the core of all activities within the division and is regularly audited by external regulatory bodies. This function has responsibility for compliance of these processes in the Quality Management System. This requires extensive communication with all business processes across multiple sites.

- Responsibility for all document control associated with Quality Management System
procedures and processes
- Ensuring that training records and plans are kept accurate and up to date

Support Technician
Renishaw are currently seeking to recruit a Support Technician to join the Group Business Systems Department. Working as part of a busy team, this position will provide support to Renishaw employees both in the UK and also worldwide.
The role will primarily involve the support of Windows XP / 7 installed PCs and MS Windows 2003 / 2008 Servers, and the applications installed on them. Renishaw use a variety of PC applications, including MS Office, Visio, Project, and server applications, including MS Exchange, SharePoint, and SCCM. Travel to other local sites will be required occasionally and the role may also involve travel further afield both within the UK and overseas - this travel may sometimes be at short notice.
The key outputs and deliverables of the role are as follows:
- Assist with the day-to-day system administration on a variety of different systems
- Provide fast, efficient and diligent IT support to Renishaw employees
- Implement/develop systems following defined standards and procedures
- Keep abreast of current technologies and working practices
Qualifications and expertise:

- The minimum of an HND (or equivalent) in Computer Science or Computer Studies
