Stylus and module change racks

Stylus and module change racks allow the automated use of a variety of stylus configurations and eliminate the need to re-qualify stylus tips after changes.

MSR1 - for use with TP20 and TP200

The MSR1 manual storage rack holds up to six pre-qualified stylus assemblies fitted to TP20 or TP200 probe modules.  It eases the operators' task where manual module changing is performed and thus aids productivity improvements. It can be wall or CMM table mounted.

MCR20 - for use with TP20

The MCR20 module changing rack is completely passive and has the capability of storing up to six TP20 probe modules for automatic changing under measurement program control.  The MCR20 is designed to securely hold the stored probe modules for automatic changing and to protect them from airborne contaminants which may be present in the working environment.

SCR200 - for use with TP200

The SCR200 provides automatic, high speed changing of up to six TP200 stylus modules.  The SCR200 is powered by the separate probe interface, PI 200, and provides features to facilitate safe stylus changing.  The SCR200 is available in low force and standard force kits, where each kit comprises one SCR200 plus three stylus modules of the same force.

SCR600 - for use with SP600

The SCR600 is a passive stylus change rack and so it requires no electrical connections. It is protected from overtravel (in the probe entry direction) by a mechanism in the base which can be manually reset.  The SCR600 houses up to four stylus modules per rack and any number of racks can be used in a system.

FCR25 - for use with SP25M

The FCR25 flexible change rack is a triple port unit that allows any of the SP25M system elements to be rapidly exchanged in any of the ports. It is the most adaptable and cost effective change rack system yet from Renishaw.
