The information will allow our service and support team to respond promptly and correctly to your enquiry. Windows 95 and 98 platforms - WiRE™ 1.0When using a Microsoft Windows 98 or Windows 95 computer, please ensure that the WiRE™ software is running. Under the 'Help' menu, select 'About Renishaw'.
This exposes the software version e.g. 1.3.33 in addition to the instrument serial number.
Windows XP platform - WiRE™ 2.0When using a Microsoft XP computer, please ensure that the WiRE™ software is running. Under the 'Help' menu, select 'About Renishaw'.
This exposes the software version e.g. Service Pack 9.
WiRE™ 3.0 and later, or WiRE 2.0 service pack 9If WiRE™ 3.0 and later, or WiRE 2.0 service pack 9 or later, is installed, additional software information may be required. Under the the procedures menu, select 'ShowVersionNumbers'.
This will generate a text file named Version.txt, with details of build version for all of the WiRE™ 2.0 object versions. This text file can then be emailed to raman.support@renishaw.com, or pasted into the 'Details of support request' text box in the Online support request form.
