Machine calibration and optimisation
Machine performance measurement and diagnosis is essential to establish a known and repeatable level of process capability.
The first step in process improvement
Renishaw's laser interferometer and ballbar measurement systems assess, monitor and improve the static and dynamic performance of machine tools, co-ordinate measuring machines (CMMs) and other position-critical motion systems.
Our products should, therefore, be considered as the first step in process improvement and are complementary to the on-machine and off-machine probing systems.
Introducing XM-60 multi-axis calibrator
XM-60 is a laser measurement system capable of measuring errors in six degrees of freedom along a linear axis, simultaneously from a single set-up.
It provides a powerful diagnostic tool to measure all geometric errors in the axis from a single capture.
For the first time with CARTO 3.0 the XM-60 multi-axis calibrator can be used with the XR20-W rotary axis calibrator, providing one easy to use and intuitive software solution for all Renishaw laser calibration products
Upgrading your system
Renishaw offers existing users a range of options to provide you with the best solution to upgrade to the latest system. With all the benefits that the QC20-W wireless telescoping ballbar system gives you, we think you will want to upgrade.
Our XL-80 laser provides significant performance and operational benefits and is compatible with existing ML10 optics, whilst the XR20-W rotary axis calibrator adds greater flexibility, simpler set-up and operation.
Renishaw has a policy of regularly updating its software to fix bugs, add functionality, extend language support, reflect changes in standards and respond to changes in Microsoft software.
If you are not using the latest software you could be missing out on these features.
