REE interpolators

For less demanding requirements for enhanced resolution you can use the REE range of interpolators.  These can increase resolution of the digital quadrature output signal by a factor of more than 20.

Three models of REE, originally designed for use with Renishaw's range of tape scale encoders, have been validated for use with the RLE. These are REE100, REE200 and REE400.

Maximum system velocities quoted include a 25% safety margin.
Velocity figures are based on 75% signal strength.

Please note the REE data sheets referenced above are produced by Renishaw's optical encoder division, and hence do not contain specification data for their use with an RLE system.  They do however contain operating and electrical specification data, as well as dimensional information.
