Legacy controllers

The SPA1 servo power amplifier is designed to work with UCC1, but has now also been superseded by SPA2.

UCC1

With UCC1, the CMM motion control is smooth, fast and accurate.

The UCC1 can operate in touch-trigger probing mode or with full scanning capability.

The UCC1 has a range of compatible additional card options. These are:

• PICS/RS232
• PH10 motorised head interface
• SP80 probe interface card
• SP25M probe interface card
• MCU1 daughtercard
• Additional axis
• Temperature sensor card

SPA1

The design of the SPA1 has been optimised to work with the UCC1 CMM controller.

Key features:

• 3-channels, each with individual controls for off-set, gain, derivative and proportional settings.
• Power supply can be set to provide 24 V or 48 V
• Maximum total output current is 10 A
• Each individual channel can deliver 10 A peak (for 2 seconds) or 7 A continuous
• Selectable chokes fitted to accommodate low inductance motors.
