The first step in process improvement
Renishaw's laser interferometer and ballbar measurement systems assess, monitor and improve the static and dynamic performance of machine tools, co-ordinate measuring machines (CMMs) and other position-critical motion systems.
Our products should, therefore, be considered as the first step in process improvement and are complementary to the on-machine and off-machine probing systems.
Introducing XK10 alignment laser system
XK10 alignment laser system has been developed for use during the build and alignment of machine tools, replacing the need for artefacts.
For use on linear rails to ensure that they are straight, square, flat, parallel and level, as well as to assess spindle direction and coaxiality of rotary machines.

Renishaw offers existing users a range of options to provide the best solution to upgrade to the latest system. With all the benefits that the QC20 ballbar system delivers to benchmark and track the condition of their machines, we think users will want to upgrade.
Our XL-80 laser interferometer system provides significant performance and operational benefits and is compatible with our ML10 optics. Whilst the XR20-W rotary axis calibrator adds greater flexibility, simpler set-up and operation.
Calibration product software
CARTO software suite is fast becoming the solution for all Renishaw calibration products and applications. Whilst some functionality is still in development other calibration product software may be required.
