A volume of 8,000 cubic cm of Core architectured material developed and processed by Betatype, made from Ti6Al4V on a RenAM 500M industrial additive manufacturing machine. Core is designed to be a replacement for current commercial metal foams by delivering competitive material properties. Processed with Betatype’s Engine CAD-CAM software platform and utilising custom exposure strategies, the volume can be built faster and cheaper than comparative lattice structures.
