In collaboration with Consultant Neurosurgeon Professor Steven Gill, Renishaw has developed a range of investigational novel drug delivery systems for the delivery of therapeutics into the brain. The low dead-volume, 4 catheter chronic device has a novel transcutaneous port (similar to a bone anchored hearing aid) that allows intermittent drug delivery at any time intervals.
