14 years ago, motivated by her own epilepsy struggles, nine-year-old epilepsy patient Cassidy Megan initiated Purple Day. Since then, on the 26th March each year, patients, caregivers and advocates around the world unite to raise epilepsy awareness by wearing purple and holding educational and fundraising events.
