Raman spectra of the exfoliated graphene oxide (exfGO) samples represent a highly disordered state of the samples due to chemical modification. The exfGO samples are labelled A to D in order of increasing oxidation state. Note that the 2D-band of graphene (≈2700 cm−1) is barely detected, indicating a loss of structure (order).
