DCLS and empty modelling images of an analgesic tablet (jpg)

The left image is generated using direct classical least squares analysis (DCLS), based on reference materials: paracetamol (green); aspirin (blue); caffeine (red). The right image is generated using Renishaw's Empty Modelling, which has correctly determined the distributions of the three main components. Their identity can be confirmed by comparision with reference spectra.
