Productivity+, Renishaw’s PC-based software solution for integrating automated process control into machining programs, introduces further capability enhancements in the latest version of the stand-alone, Active Editor Pro application. A new lathe tool update statement allows inspection data from geometric features such as points, circles and planes to be used to update wear offsets of a lathe tool. The application automatically selects which offset to update based on the geometry of the selected feature.
