NC1-F face mill length & dia (mpg)

High speed tool setting with the NC1 non-contact laser tool setter. A face mill is set for both length and diameter, a sequence that takes less than 20 seconds to complete. A whole suite of tools can be set in just a few minutes. <BR><BR>The sequence involves taking two readings for each dimension- the first finds the approximate size and drives the tool to a small stand-off position, from where the second reading is performed at a slower feedrate for best repeatability.
